KELLY Brook has asked her ex-boyfriend to find her a new man, it has been revealed.

The Piranha 3-D actress, who split from English rugby hunk Danny Cipriani last month, has reportedly phoned Hollywood action star Jason Statham to ask him to find her a guy in Los Angeles.

A source said: “She’s contacted Jason to see if he has any single pals she could line-up for dates in Los Angeles. She actually really trusts his judgement.”

Kelly was in a relationship with Jason for seven years before she separated from him in 2004 to embark on a romance with actor Billy Zane.

She is apparently terrified about being single and wants to get back into a relationship as soon as possible. The source added: “She doesn’t have to look far – men fall over themselves to date her.

“But Kelly is phobic about being single.

“She feels like her brand is a million times stronger when she has a boyfriend in her life

Franchising companies live

Franchising companies live and die on their abilities to expand into the market place and promote their brand name. A Career as a Franchise Trainer can be a rewarding career and is perfect for someone who likes to work with people and consult them; help them in realizing their American Dream to own their own company.

There is a lot of CYA in franchising, document wars often erupt if there is a dispute down the road in the franchising relationship between the franchisee and the franchisor and a good trainer can nip this in the bud early on and prevent these things and thus it makes the franchisor trainer one of the most important positions in a franchise company.

There are classes available you can take to better yourself in this career venue and they are offered by the International Franchise Association and the Certified Franchise Executive CFE Programs. There is another very good seminar program offered in Houston by another company, which can assist franchise trainers in doing a better job.

There is a lot of upward mobility as a franchise trainer, as there is always a new method or program to be taught to existing franchisees and as the company expands so will the number of trainers.

Candolim sex racket used Mumbai bar girls [Goa]

Candolim sex racket used Mumbai bar girls [Goa]

0 Comments | Times of India, The, Jun 30, 2010

PANAJI: With the rescue of 11 girls from Candolim on Sunday night, the lid has been blown off a racket that involved bringing in women from Mumbai for prostitution. Ten people have been arrested following the raid on Pharos Den and Discotheque, which generally lets in only tourists for an entry fee of Rs 1,000.

The police found the girls-in their early 20s-dancing, entertaining and soliciting clients. “They work as bar girls in Mumbai and are brought to Goa for a week, after which they are sent back,” police sources said.

On their arrival, the girls are taken to two flats in Candolim, where they are kept locked. They are not allowed to open the windows of the flat or interact with anybody. Food and groceries are supplied to the flat. At 7pm a car picks them up and they are taken to the night club. At about 3am they are dropped back to the flat, the sources said.

The girls first lure customers to dance with them, and subsequently take them to the restaurant for food and liquor, for which they get a commission. After that they strike deals for the night, the sources said. “They charge between Rs 7,000 and Rs 15,000 for their service,” they added.

The police arrested 10 people after the raid and booked them under various sections of the Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act.

Those arrested are discotheque owner Ashish Joglekar, who has been running the place for the last three years, discotheque manager Robin Jose, food and beverages manager Vipin Soman, and two other employees Prabir Dhinda and Prashant Tapadkar

THE mother of a soldier has criticised a company for refusing to refund a birthday present after her son was called up early to serve in Afghanistan.

Rebecca Dales, 42, of Wragby Road, Scunthorpe, bought a Pounds 285 driving experience package for her son, Oliver, to drive various rally cars at Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire today.

But she had to cancel after 18-year-old Oliver was called back to his Army barracks in Portsmouth after a planned tour to war-torn Afghanistan was brought forward by a month.

Despite the exceptional circumstances, Mrs Dales said she was stunned when the Leicestershire-based Everyman Racing refused to refund her booking.

She said when she booked the present she understood there would be no problem changing it if her son was called back to the Army at short notice.

She said: “I thought everything was fine until I was told their tour to Afghanistan has been brought forward from October to September.

“They have got an awful lot of training to do, including weekends.

“I phoned Everyman Racing to try and change it but they said ‘no’ because I declined to take out cancellation insurance.

“I asked at what point the insurance was offered.”

After speaking to the firm’s manager on Monday, Mrs Dales said she was told she did in fact have the insurance, but it would not cover the cancellation because it was due to a work commitment.

She said: “There must be able to be some leeway somewhere.

“The nature of the Army is that they can get called away at the drop of a hat.”

And she added that she was frustrated at being significantly out of pocket on the deal.

“I find myself in a position where I am nearly Pounds 300 out of pocket and I don’t think it would cost them anything for him not to turn up on that day,” she said.

“It is an awful lot of money for them to be able to say ‘that’s tough’.

“They don’t seem to want to help at all.”

A spokesman for Everyman Racing said: “We sell 60,000 vouchers per year and our customers include soldiers, firemen, policemen and ambulance drivers.

“Everybody has to abide by the same terms and conditions.

“These are tough times for businesses and these terms and conditions are there to protect us and protect the customer.

“We have no prejudices against anyone, especially soldiers, and we will be displaying and donating at a Help For Heroes charity event on Sunday.

“We are sorry Rebecca is unhappy but unfortunately, it is the same for any paying customer.”

Disposable diapers are easier on your baby?s

Disposable diapers are easier on your baby?s skin and you will get more use out of each diaper. Check different places to find the best price of your diapering choice. Preemies are often more sleepy than full-term newborns. Preemies respond to over stimulation by sleeping and withdrawing even through feeding, bathing, and diapering them. Work with them and understand that they will begin to awake when they get closer to their due date. Preemies frequently experience reflux and spitting up more than full-term babies. This is because the sphincter in their stomach may not be fully developed. Work with them, but do not overfeed them or you will see it again when they spit it up. Routine is a very important part of living with multiples. Being flexible with your schedule will help your babies learn to sleep, eat, and grow better! Mommy will be much happier too!

Exquisite fairytales

Exquisite fairytales

0 Comments | Cornish Guardian; Truro (UK), Jul 28, 2010

A TRAVELLING collection of mysterious objects from more than 100 artists, merged with extraordinary artefacts on loan from West Cornwall museums Inspired by cabinets of curiosities or Wunderkammer, Exquisite Trove is an exploration of the human desire to collect, display and tell tales with objects and images that reflect our personal histories and a fascination with the imagined lives of others.

The exhibition is an amalgamation of The House of Fairy Tales’ travelling collection of significant and treasured items from artists including Anne Hardy, Cathy de Monchaux, Cornelia Parker, Ged Quinn, Gavin Turk and Rachel Whiteread and an eclectic selection of strange and wonderful objects loaned from ten Cornish museums.

The combination of artists’ possessions and museum artefacts provokes fascinating and intriguing interpretations.

As well as the exhibition being a beautiful and complex one, it is hoped that it will create cross traffic between the art gallery and the local museums, with new audiences drawn to both.

Throughout the exhibition there will be storytelling areas, books and activities for children of all ages that will inspire new narratives about the objects on display. There will also be a weekly programme of storytelling sessions and workshops throughout the exhibition.

The House Of Fairy Tales, Exquisite Trove is on show at the Newlyn Art Gallery until October 2.

Every time I watch

Every time I watch it, I feel like coming home. Same with Harry Potter.

Of course what inspires us differ tremendously of what inspires men. An example: In the movie ?Sleepless in Seattle,? after Sam?s sister overreacts when she describes the movie ?An Affair to Remember? to make a point, Sam and his brother-in-law remember how much ?The Dirty Dozen? has affected them and how much they love that movie. They remember some scenes and start to cry, to the surprised look of his sister, who certainly can?t understand why they are crying for such a war movie.

My father loved two films: ?Zorba, the Greek? and ?The Godfather.? I bet he would have loved to watch them over and over again, had this possibility existed when he was alive many years back. My American ex-husband swears by ?Big Little Man.? I watched it one day and could not, for the life of me, understand what was so spectacular about it.
